Hands-on chiropractic care has been the foundation of Dr. Marc Grandle’s practice from the beginning. He works with patients ranging from newborns to grandparents, as well as professional athletes and people from all walks of life.

Rather than taking the same approach with every patient, Dr. Grandle tailors each adjustment to the individual’s needs. His goal is to provide focused, supportive care for patients seeking pain relief and greater fluidity of motion.
What to Expect at
Your First Visit
Your first visit begins with a conversation about what you are experiencing and what you hope to improve. Dr. Grandle gathers information, performs a physical examination and may take X-rays as part of the evaluation.

This process helps him understand your individual needs and determine a more targeted approach to your chiropractic care.

Discuss your concerns, health history and what you would like to accomplish through care.

Physical Examination

Dr. Grandle performs an examination to gather more information about your individual needs.

X-Rays
​
When appropriate, X-rays may be taken to provide additional information before care begins.
Dr. Grandle is trained in multiple chiropractic techniques and selects an approach based on the needs of each patient.

Hands-on adjustments are a central part of his practice. When a lighter touch is appropriate, he also offers gentle, low-force methods and may use a torque release instrument. This range of options allows him to adapt care for patients of different ages and individual preferences.

Alki Wellness offers low-dose, reduced-radiation X-rays at its Santa Barbara office. When imaging is appropriate, having this technology available on-site allows Dr. Grandle to gather additional information as part of the evaluation process.
Meet Dr. Marc Grandle, D.C.
Dr. Marc Grandle’s own experience with chronic back injuries from football, rugby and construction work introduced him to chiropractic care and inspired him to help others through an integrative, natural approach.

He has served the Santa Barbara community since 2001. At Alki Wellness, he combines hands-on chiropractic care with an individualized approach in which every patient is heard and each care plan is tailored to the person.
